What’s the best digital camera to use at a concert?
I know SLR’s and those really expensive cameras are pretty much the best, but I hate the hassle of having one. So, what small digital camera is the best to use? I like shooting videos a lot too, so a camera with good video will be great too. Something with good zoom too. (sorry I am really picky.)
In point and shoots, your options are limited.
For a good zoom try the Canon A720 IS.
For good low-light performance, try a Fujfilm F50fd.
However, you can’t quite get both in a point and shoot; you’d have to go to an SLR. For a concert, the A720 IS might do okay because it’s image stabilized and if the stage is well-lit. If the spot lights aren’t that strong on the performers, the F50fd will do better, with less noisy images.
