I have a new Sony digital camera. I have downloaded and read the directions. My photos are not great. My Kodak camera took such better pictures even though it was way cheaper and had less megapixels.

Try the flash, study photography, panning is the best technique to shoot moving objects unless blur is wanted, it takes practice, use a fast shutter like 125th or faster.
