which would be the best tripod to buy for an SLR camera?
I would like to attach it to my bag so I would like it to fold down small and not too much weight. Many thanks
I would take a good look at a quality carbon fiber tripod. I love my Feisol Traveler tripod (see the 1st link below). It is not cheap, but it is strong, lightweight (you want to attach it to your bag), and goes to a good height. Price about $400 to $500
There are other carbon fiber tripods and I added a 2nd link that list a over 30 of them at B&H Photo listed from lower to higher price. Prices from about $100 and up.
