Should I take my digital camera on holiday?
Basically I just bought a new SLR camera [very expensive in other words] and I want to take it on holiday with me in july/august when i travel to florida from the UK. However in the manual it specifically states: “Do not use or store this unit in the following locations:
- areas exposed to severe changes in temperature and humidity
- areas exposed to direct sunlight
Extremes in temperature may cause problems.”
Should I risk it and take it with me? But then if i lived in Florida and bought this camera, then does that mean i wouldn’t be able to use it over there?

It will be fine it is humid here but the camera can take changes in temperature just as long as you don’t store in the bathroom or leave on the dashboard of your car
