Which Manfrotto tripod to buy?
I want to buy a carbon fibre Tripod. I have read reviews and would like to buy Manfrotto.
I have found two tripods from Manfrotto
1. Manfrotto 055CXPRO4 Carbon Fibre Tripod and
2. Manfrotto 190CXPRO4 Carbon Fibre Tripod
Can anyone tell me which one is best and why?
My camera gear
Nikon D300 & Nikon D70
Nikon Lenses – 18-200mm, 105mm Macro, 50mm 1.4

They are both pretty much the same in features. The 055 is taller, and can handle more weight. It also weighs more.
I have the 190CXPRO4, and even with my Canon 5D MarkII and my big 70-200 IS F2.8 L lens on it, I never felt it wasn’t good enough.
Go to the Manfrotto website to carefully study both, but unless you’re very tall, I bet the smaller one would do just fine.
