canon a570 is lens problem?? help?
ok, my brother put the camera in his bag & accidentally dropped the bag. It causes damage to the camera LCD i think. There is a black leaf blocking the screen on the right. It can still be use for picture taking though and can still download the pictures in it! But when you take pictures, you can’t see the whole view because of the ‘black leaf’ thing..what can you advise to me? I have bought it 8 months ago and forgot to register it for warranty yet! I’m in the Philippines…
It doesn’t matter whether it’s registered or not. The warranty only covers defective cameras, not abuse, And dropping it is abuse. Call Canon and ask what it would cost to have it repaired. It might cost almost as much as a new one.
If this was your camera, next time don’t loan it to anyone else.
