Can you give me your digital camera recommendation?
I’ve been trying to find a good source on the internet to help me make a selection, but the buying guides don’t really let me add all of my requirements… typically, they let me choose for one feature or one type of camera.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
1) Optical Zoom: 6X+… I’m outdoors a lot, so I’d like something with high opti-zoom to capture wildlife… I don’t give a crud about digital zoom.
2) Size: Compact… this thing will be going backpacking with me, so lighter is naturally better.
3) Resolution: Nothing fancy here… the higher the resolution, the more I have to spend on a beefier memory card. 3-5MP is just fine. (My 3MP PowerShot A70 w/ tripod has given me decent 8×10s)
4) Price: I’m not looking to spend more than $200.
5) Memory Slot: I already have CF/SD devices, so I can reuse cards if the camera supports either of these interfaces.
I absolutely love mine… i have konica minolta dimage Z6… 12x zoom … 6 mp… it is awesome … check it out and see what you think … oh and you can find them on ebay for around or less than 200
