My Casio Exilim EX-S880 (8.1 Megapixel) digital camera won’t charge?
When I put it on the dock to charge it, the charging light only flashes red (compared to staying red to indicate it charging). I left it at home when I was in college so it hasn’t been turned on in a few months. The only solution I can think of is that the battery is shot (not even able to charge), anyone else have this problem before and know what to do?
Call the Casio help line and ask.
There are two things that will kill a Li-ion battery, leaving it uncharged for a long period of time and overheating it during charging (this only happens if you use generic chargers)
