questions about personal items/carry on’s for plane?
I have not flown since I was little. We decided we are not going to check our luggage in. Instead we are going to do a carry on and personal item. I dont know what airlines we are using yet so I dont know what size of carry on I can have. For a personal item could I bring like a tote type bag that will have my purse and digital camera inside…or am I allowed a backpack that I could stuff my purse in or just my wallet and put my actually purse in my carry on suitcase? Sorry to ramble. I am not getting stressed trying to figure all the packing out and what I can and cant have and nervous

It has always been one standard size carry-on plus a hand bag (purse, computer,…) or backpack. If you are not sure, it’s best to check with the airline. As for checked luggages, there may be fees involved nowaday except Southwest and Jetblue are still giving first checked luggage free of charge. Keep in mind, there are items you are not allowed to bring on the airplane, check the attached link for more details.
