How can I adapt my Tamron lens to fit a Canon camera?
I used to use a Minolta Maxxum 5 (film) camera, and I had a Tamron 80-210mm lens to go with it. However, I am in the process of purchasing a Canon Digital Rebel XT. I understand that you can buy an adapter, but how?
If you provide a link I will be very grateful. Also, can I adapt my Minolta lens using the same adapter for my Digital Rebel?
Yes, you can probably get something for that. There are a couple of nikon/canon/milnolta/etc lens to nikon/canon/minolta/etc body adapters out in the market. They don’t seem to be very cheap though.
One thing to note is that you are likely to loose AF and possible AE when using these.
As an example, this article referes to a nikon lens to canon body adpter.

Tamron also has something called the adaptall. Not sure if that is applicable for the lens you are using though.
