What kind of lens is good for getting close with a digital rebel xti camera?
Hello, I have a digital rebel xti camera and i am looking into getting a new lense. I was wondering if anyone had experience with lenses that lets you get really close to the image.
In order to get close, you will need to have a macro lens.
Macro lens is a special lens that allow you to focus at very close distance.
If you want to stick with Canon lenses, try the affordable EF-S 60mm f2.8. You should be able to get it used at ebay.
On the other hand, there are other 3rd parties lens from the like of Sigma which will do pretty good job at less than half the price of a canon lens.
