Does anyone know how i can fix this problem with my camera?
I have a hp Photosmart r742 digital camera that i absolutely love to death. about a year ago though, it started acting really funny. It still takes pictures, but the pictures won’t go onto the memory card. If i start with 133 spots for pictures and then i take a picture, that number will change to 132. but after the picture “saves”, that number goes back to 133 and no pictures were loaded onto the memory card. it’s not the memory card itself because it works fine in my mom’s camera.
also, it takes a really long time for the shutter to close after i turn the camera off.
does anyone know how i can fix this without spending hundreds of dollars in repairs??
I would say that ur camera is coming to the end of its life ,I would see more sense in buying a new camera for the price it would take to repair your existing one, camera prices are coming down so much that you can now get 10mp cameras for under £100.
if its not the memory card then its the camera itself and i cant think of any home fixes you could do
