Is $200 worth it for a mint condition Nikon D70?
I have a co-worker who is selling his Nikon D70 for $200. I don’t have experience with DSLRs and this will be my first DSLR camera if i decide to buy it. The camera comes with all accessories with extra battery, 8gb memory, camera bag. He also told me that he changed the lens to a better one that the lens the camera originally came with (just not sure what kind.) He is also throwing an additional flash. The camera looks really good, clean, hardly any scratches. Seems like he took good care of it. Saw the pictures on the camera that he took and they look amazing.
i just called him and he said the lens is 18-105mm. he wants to buy a new SLR thats why he is selling it to me for $200. i also bought a few techie products from him before. he sold me the 1st gen iphone for a $100 when the 3g came out and the 3g iphone for $150 when the 3gs came out. He is planning to sell me his 3gs this time for $200 when the iphone 4g comes out.
correction the lens is 18-200mm dx vr or zr something.
