I am new at photograph and would like some advice as to which camera is worth buying. I live in Hong kong…..
so there are many models to choose from, including old analog cameras dating back to the 70’s 60’s etc.

Which is best anolog or digital?
- Canon F-1N?
- Praktica with 50 mm lens?
Minolta SRT101, Canon Ftb, Nikon FM, Olympus OM1. I heard these are good for a novice
well a 70’s camera will last you another 50 years, cant see any digitals lasting that long,
they are all good film cameras, if you intend to pursue the art get any of the above or any nikon “F” series, then when you get a digital slr you can use nikon lenses on nikon bodies,
the minolta “X” series are awesome, i have 2 X700s they must be over 20years old and both are immaculate even after being dropped and knocked a bit……..digitals are to sensitive and break if you sneeze near them
canon AE1 one of the biggest sellers of alll time some say the biggest. plenty of sharp lens for them also
olympus om1 if manual adapter is fitted else no, any OM series is good as long as you can use it manually
practica……bit in the srt101 catergory, ergonomics didnt exist then,,,,,,,both handle great lenses though
pentax 35mm’s aren’t to crusty either……..
if i missed a worthy brand or model sorry,
whats the intentions you have for the camera?? what lens/lenses do you want? if just 50mm then they all have sharp and fast ones
