Looking for a “simple-to-upload&email-photos” digital camera.?
Looking to buy a digital camera (gift) for an older relative who is not computer savvy. Not worried about megapixels because anything will be better than the 2MP she has now. Her biggest difficulty is with uploading photos to PC and emailing them. I need a camera and/or software that will make uploading and emailing photos without converting or resizing photos simple. I’d like suggestions/reviews on actual cameras (not guides or web links). Thanks a bunch!
Buy them a different camera. Digital cameras are for the computer literate ONLY!
I have been working with the training of people with digital cameras for over five years with little or no computer savvy … It is really not worth the trouble.
All cameras relate to the computer in the same way. Finding one with a program that will automatically convert image files large enough to make photographic prints, yet save them as much smaller emailable files, would be great … but so far I don’t know of one that will do that.
There are programs that will do that, but it is assumed that the person using them have good to great computer skills.
