Can I put the lens from my Sigma SA7 (film camera) on my Digital EOS 350D?

In short: No.
The mounts are similar but not identical, and no adapter exists to mate the Sigma SA mount to Canon EF. Adapters exist for some classic lenses (mostly Contax, Zeiss, etc) to mate to Canon, but are only available because these “old-school” wide angle lenses often exceed the image quality available in modern wide angle Canon lenses (a known weakness in the Canon lineup).
Further, when a lens is adapted, is loses ALL automatic functions (Autofocus, etc).
The Sigma SA mount is an electronic mount, which means that if it WAS hypothetically adapted, you would lose the ability to control aperture size. You would only be able to shoot “wide open.” So even if you wanted to construct a custom adapter (a timely and difficult proposition) the end results would not be worth the trouble.
