I’m taking a plane tomorrow (Air Canada, am I allowed to bring my camera bag on board?
I’m just wondering, cuz if I can use the bag I keep my SLR camera, I can also fit other stuff on. So I won’t need an extra carry on.

Not exactly sure what you’re asking or suggesting, but I’ve taken my camera bag on many airlines (not Air Canada though) and it has never counted as a carry on.
The exception to this would be if you are flying through England. They have an unimaginably strict “1 bag” rule. A woman’s purse counts as their carry-on there.
You shouldn’t have a prob. Take both your camera bag and carry-on on the plane.
