Different CAMERA LENSES?
This may be a silly question but no one else seems to know. I have a Sony A300 digital SLR camera and I was wondering if I buy a lense that is sony but a different camera style (like a Sony SLR A100) will it work on my camera?
All Sony DSLRs use the Minolta Maxxum A-mount first introduced with the Maxxum 7000 AF 35mm film camera in 1985. Any Sony mount lens is 100% compatible with and Sony DSLR. Of course, any Maxxum AF lens made from 1985 forward is also fully compatible with your A300.
