Trying to find out about the Canon Eos 20D?
I’ve been shooting with a Sony Cybershot for quite awhile and have become more interested in taking quality photos. I was looking at the DSLR cameras and was wondering about the Canon Eos 20D. I’ve read a lot of good things and it seems pretty affordable. I know I would like to be able to purchase some different lenses to widen my array of abilities and this seems like a good way of doing so. Please let me know your reviews or opinions of the Canon Eos 20D, but please only solid knowledge of the product, no “well I heard it was great or wasn’t great” kind of opinions.
And if you believe this camera is not a good choice could you please reccommend one comparable.

My wedding kit used to have two 20D’s but I recently upgraded them to 50D’s.
The 20D is an 8.2MP camera and very capable. One of my assistant shooters purchased one of the 20’s and loves it much more than her 10.1 Rebel. It does have a tiny LCD, but you’re really only looking at histograms and to see if people blinked anyway. I prefer a smaller LCD, it drains battery slower.
If you can, look at the 30D – it has some upgrades that may be worth it to you. Otherwise, the 20D is still a very nice camera and you’ll be happy with it.
